McColm Civil & Structural Engineers Work Placement

“Last week we had Edan from Kyle Academy in for work experience. He successfully navigated our student programme learning the basic principles of bridge building, structural analysis, CAD and even got to accompany our engineers on a structural survey” McColm Civil & Structural Engineers.

Edan is an S5 pupil from Kyle Academy who was interested in engineer careers. This placement ran from Monday to Friday and involved him assisting with drawing production, structural calculations.
