UWS Taster Event 2022

Groups of S5/S6 pupils from some Ayrshire Schools enjoyed the UWS Taster Day Event in June at their Ayrshire Campus. This was the first in-person Taster Event since the pandemic, following last year’s virtual session.

The pupils enjoyed a Welcome and Introduction from Laura Murdoch and Kirstie Paterson from the Student Recruitment Team, followed by a campus tour. 

Laura and Kirstie had organised workshops for the pupils in Education, Sport, Nursing, Performance and Commercial Music. 

The pupils had a great day and had the opportunity to put their questions to a student panel at the end of the workshops, which was highly informative. Thank you UWS, we look forward to next years event!
