East Ayrshire Asset Services

EAC Housing Asset Services have supported the programme since 2020. Last session, Kevin had 4 pupils on flexible placements from several schools in East Ayrshire whilst also hosting week-long placements alongside this.

This has allowed us to, once again, give the opportunity to young boys and girls, such as Ben from Loudoun Academy to experience the world of work. With an annual Craft Apprenticeship recruitment programme offering opportunities in Plumbing, Plastering, Bricklaying, Joinery and Electrical, this is a great way for us to get a sneak peek at the potential apprentices of the future and give them the chance to have an insight into what a career in East Ayrshire Council could look like.“ – Kevin Mitchell, EAC Housing Asset Services
