Carrick Academy had the team from Alex Begg visit the school at the beginning of September to speak with their senior Art and Design and Business pupils.
They spoke about the heritage of Alex Begg, the recruitment process and different routes into the business. The team brought along sample fabrics for the pupils to use within a challenge they set.
The young people were split into teams of 5 and were asked to create a social media post about their choice of fabric. The aim was to attract influences to their Instagram site by using their own pictures and what hashtag they would use. The prize for the winning team was three days internship at Alex Begg in the October break. What an amazing opportunity!
